Alright, so, this morning, I want to talk about something that my friend Meah talks about each and every Monday-Motivation. Motivation is what pushes us to do certain things, it drives our actions, and words, right? It is the reason we do certain things. And of course, we don’t all have to have just one Motivation, but we can several different motivations for doing one thing. For example, we could be Motivated to help someone because we’ve seen others do it, because our family does, and because that’s what we believe we should do. In that example, we have three different things motivating us. Now, there’s another thing about Motivation, which is particularly interesting to me. All of us have different things that motivate us to do the same thing. For example, let me use the example of people who Run. One person who Runs, may do so because they are training for a marathon and want to be ready. Another person who runs may do so because they feel it just fun and some for of physical activity. Finally, our third person who runs maybe doing so to exercise and seriously get in shape. Each of us have different motivations for doing the same thing. No one’s motivations for doing something are better or worse than anyone else. None are right or wrong. They’re all unique and special to us. Our motivations, what drives us, is very personal to us and specific to us. And our motivations can be based on who we are, our upbringing, our place in life, our appearance, our physical ability, our mental ability, our clothing, our self-acceptance, how we perceive others, a myriad of different things. My point is this, what motivates a person, what drives a person, is not something to be looked down at, it should be respected because our Motivations are another thing that set us apart from each other and make us truly unique and special.
Alright, well, that’s about all the time I have for today, so, until next week, take care, be safe, and goodbye everyone, have a great weekend, I’ll see you right back here next week!
