What If-Finding the Good in our Decisions

Have you ever thought this to yourself: “What if I had done that? How different would things have turned out?” Most of us have wondered that in our day to day lives, including me. Let me first explain that phrase real fast. Many of us ask that question because, in life we all make decisions, good ones and not so good ones. As a result, we often wonder at times, did we make the right choice? If we had made the opposite choice, what would have happened? Would things really be any better? For me, I’ve wondered that about something. A few years ago, many of you will recall, and for those of you don’t, I went to Laroche College. Now, things didn’t work out so well there, there were a lot of reasons, and I wound up leaving. Just this past weekend, I went to Ross Park Mall with my Mom, and we drove right past the College and it got me wondering, what if I hadn’t left? What if I had stayed? It’s normal, I think, to wonder and think about “what if”. However, what we all have to do is, look at the decisions we made and what they have ultimately led to and try to find the good in it. For me, yes, I left Laroche College. However, if I hadn’t, I don’t think I would have ever met some of the people I know today, and for that matter, I don’t believe I’d have some of the friends that I have now. So, there’s the good in that decision. In every decision that is made, something good always comes out of it, no matter how small, you just have to look for it. So, my point this is, it’s okay to wonder “What if?”, but also you must look for the good in the decision you already made.

Alright, well, that’s about all the time I have for this week, so, until next week, take care, be safe, and goodbye everyone, have a great weekend, I’ll see you right back here next week!
