Anger is an interesting and tricky sort of emotion that we all experience on a daily basis, right? It can make us feel a whole flood of emotions at once, and sometimes, it can be very overwhelming. Anger is a part of life though, as we all know, and its an emotion, and a valid one, just as happiness, and sadness are emotions that we go through, anger is one as well. There are things that make me angry, things I won’t discuss here, because they’re personal, but, suffice it to say, sometimes I have to deal with anger over things. However, in talking with my friend Meah, I got some suggestions that I’m going to share right now with how you can deal with your anger. First of all, you could write about it. Write down your thoughts and perhaps why you feel that way. Second, you could talk to a friend, parent, or guardian about whats making you angry. What both of those things accomplish is, they let you get the anger out of in head and they almost allow you to hear yourself whats making you angry out loud, and perhaps if you do, you’ll feel better or at least it won’t seem as bad. You could also go and listen to music or draw or paint, do something to take your mind off of whatever is making you particularly angry. Finally, some people find that letting their emotions, by going somewhere and just letting out a good scream or even crying for a bit, helps to relieve themselves of the anger. Both of those are perfectly alright, and nothing to be embarrassed about, and both of those allow a person to relieve themselves of the anger, at least temporarily. All of these options deal with handling anger in a constructive and positive manner. Of course, these are just a few options, there are many, many more. What works for someone to get rid of anger, might not work for someone else, we all have different ways of dealing with your anger. However you decide to handle your anger, in a constructive manner, realize that anger is a perfectly natural and normal emotion and it can be dealt with and worked through. As my friend Meah says, “Things always get Better!”
